SMK Farmako Medika Plus Bogor Student Council Commemorates the 80th Anniversary of Radio Republik Indonesia

Bogor, September 11, 2025 – To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), the Student Council (OSIS) of SMK Farmako Medika Plus Bogor held an event themed “From Radio for the Nation, Voicing the Innovation of the Young Generation.”

The event, held in the school auditorium, began with a brief ceremony and the playback of the historical proclamation recording that was once broadcast via radio. This served as a reflection for students to understand the vital role of communication media in the nation’s struggle for independence.

Following this, Student Council members showcased an innovative simulation of a school radio broadcast. They presented the latest news, public service announcements, and selected music. Their creativity stood out even more as they integrated digital technology into the broadcast concept, making the activity modern and interactive.

The Principal of SMK Farmako Medika Plus Bogor expressed appreciation to the Student Council for successfully turning the commemoration of Radio Day into a meaningful learning opportunity.

“Radio is a witness to the nation’s struggle. Through this activity, Student Council members have proven that the young generation can innovate with technology without forgetting history,” he said.

The event concluded with a mini broadcasting competition participated in by Student Council members, along with the awarding of prizes for the best participants.

Through this event, SMK Farmako Medika Plus Bogor hopes that the Student Council will not only excel in leadership and creativity but also contribute to communication and digital literacy, in line with the spirit of Radio Republik Indonesia Day.

United Youth, Advanced Indonesia! On Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 , SMK Farmako Medika Plus held a Youth Pledge Day Ceremony at the school yard with great respect and enthusiasm. All students, teachers, and staff participated in the event as a tribute to the spirit of unity sparked by Indonesian youth in 1928. The ceremony began at 7:00 AM , marked by the raising of the Indonesian flag and the singing of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya.” The atmosphere was solemn and filled with pride, reminding everyone of their role as the nation’s next generation. It continued with the reading of the Youth Pledge , which became a meaningful moment to reflect on unity and patriotism. FIRST MONDAY CEREMONY OF THE NEW YEAR AND SEMESTER

  On Monday, January 6, 2025, all SMK Farmako Medika Plus students, along with our teachers gathered to carry out a flag ceremony which is routinely held every week, the officers themselves are members of the OSIS and the SMK Farmako Medika Plus ambalan council. This ceremony has a deeper meaning because it is also the starting moment to start the journey of education and work in the new year and semester.  With a new spirit, the ceremony participants followed the series of events solemnly, starting with the raising of the red and white flag which is a symbol of national unity.
