National batik day at SMK Farmako Medika Plus
October 2nd is always a special day for Indonesia, as we commemorate National Batik Day. At SMK FARMAKO MEDIKA PLUS, the atmosphere was truly festive! From the morning, all the students, teachers, and staff looked stunning, wearing batik in a variety of motifs and colors. Some wore classic batik, while others looked cool in modern batik. It made the school more colorful and cheerful! 🌸✨
The event began with a simple but solemn ceremony. In their remarks, the principals emphasized that batik is not just a fabric, but also a national cultural heritage recognized internationally by UNESCO. Therefore, we as the younger generation must be proud and continue to preserve it. 🙌
Following this, there was a sharing session on the history of batik from the teachers. Students became more aware that each batik motif has a deep philosophical meaning. It's so much fun because we can learn while still relaxing.
With this commemoration, SMK FARMAKO MEDIKA PLUS wants to encourage all its students to love batik even more, not just on National Batik Day, but also in their daily lives. Because batik is our identity, our pride, and a part of Indonesian culture that we must all preserve together. ❤️🇮🇩
